03 · After the fact

Corrections stay private. The words stay yours.

Mistakes come back to you once the message is already gone, so the person you are writing to never sees a red mark on something you said. Save a word and it keeps the sentence it came from, who said it, and when.

Do I need someone to learn with?

One person is enough, and they do not have to speak your target language perfectly or teach you anything. Pawly covers the gaps when your person is asleep.

Which languages are supported?

English and French at launch. The Android app downloads ML Kit models over Wi-Fi for on-device translation; the browser has no production translator. More pairs follow.

Does my partner see my mistakes?

No. Corrections are private to you and arrive after the message is sent, so the conversation is never interrupted to grade you.

What happens when my free allowance runs out?

You keep messaging. Human conversation, voice notes, local history, and saved words are never held behind the paywall.

Is my conversation used to train models?

No. Messages are yours; learning requests are processed to give you an answer, not to build a dataset. Full detail lives in the privacy policy.
