Terms of use

Symbiose is a private messenger with contextual language learning for people who already know each other.

The service

You may use Symbiose to communicate with people you know and to request the learning assistance described in the app. You are responsible for the account you create and for activity carried out through it.

Respectful and lawful use

Do not use Symbiose to break the law, impersonate another person, harass or threaten someone, distribute malware, probe or disrupt the service, or attempt to access another account or conversation. Do not send content that you do not have the right to share.

Learning assistance

Translation, writing help, explanations, corrections, and Pawly are assistance features. They can be incomplete or wrong, and you remain responsible for deciding what to send and how to use an answer. Symbiose does not replace professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

Subscriptions and purchases

Any paid Symbiose+ subscription is purchased and managed through the applicable app store. Store terms, billing cycles, prices, taxes, cancellation, and refunds are governed by that store's rules and the offer shown at purchase. Human messaging remains available independently of learning assistance entitlements.

Availability and changes

Symbiose is evolving and may include beta features. We may change, suspend, or discontinue a feature when needed to operate or improve the service, protect users, or comply with the law. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.
